Christian radio stations receive more music submissions than ever before. Unfortunately, those submissions often arrive through scattered emails, incomplete press kits, broken download links, missing metadata, or songs that do not match the station’s format.
Kingdom Chorus Radio Desk is being built to make that process simpler.
Radio Desk is a private music-submission workspace designed specifically for Christian radio. It gives invited stations one organized place to receive, review, and manage professionally prepared releases from the Kingdom Chorus roster.
The goal is not to send stations more music.
The goal is to help stations receive fewer mismatched submissions, better-organized materials, and clearer information about why each song was selected for them.
Built Around the Station’s Workflow
Many music-submission platforms are designed primarily around the needs of artists, labels, or promoters. Radio Desk begins from a different perspective:

Each participating station will be able to maintain its own private account and define the kinds of releases it is interested in receiving.
Stations can identify accepted formats such as:

- Contemporary Worship

- Christmas and seasonal programming

Stations will also be able to provide more detailed preferences, including musical style, vocal presentation, energy, song length, seasonal availability, radio-edit requirements, and policies regarding AI-assisted music.
These settings help Kingdom Chorus understand what belongs in a station’s inbox—and what does not.
Stations Remain in Complete Control
Radio Desk does not require stations to accept every submission, respond to every release, or provide airplay.
Every programming decision remains entirely with the station.
Stations can control whether they are:
- Open to new submissions
- Temporarily paused
- Closed to submissions
They can also update their preferences as their programming needs change.
A station may decide that it wants more contemporary worship, fewer country-influenced releases, songs under four minutes, male or female vocals, seasonal music during certain months, or artists with a particular sound.
The more clearly a station defines those preferences, the more accurately Kingdom Chorus can prepare future submissions.
Participation does not create any obligation to review, respond to, accept, or broadcast a song.
Professionally Prepared Submissions
Every release sent through Radio Desk is prepared and delivered by Kingdom Chorus administration.
Artists do not have unrestricted access to send music directly to participating stations.
This administrative review is an important part of the platform’s quality-control process.
Before a release is delivered, Kingdom Chorus can verify that the submission includes the appropriate materials, such as:
- Artist and song information
- Radio format
- Release date
- Audio links and approved downloads
- Song duration
- Lyrics
- Songwriter and production credits
- ISRC information
- Cover artwork
- Artist biography
- Song story
- Radio blue sheet
- Available radio edits
- Liner or interview availability
This reduces the likelihood of stations receiving incomplete or poorly organized packages.
It also helps prevent the system from becoming another open submission directory filled with bulk messages and unrelated music.
Why Was This Song Sent to Our Station?
One of the newest Radio Desk features is a station-matching and filtering system for Kingdom Chorus staff.
When preparing a submission, an Administrator or authorized Operator can search for stations based on the song’s format and the preferences each station has provided.
The system can compare information such as:
- Accepted formats
- Musical preference tags
- Reference artists and sounds
- Vocal style
- Energy and mood
- Instrumentation
- Song duration
- Radio-edit availability
- Seasonal requirements
- AI-use policies
- Interview and liner interest
Before the song is submitted, Kingdom Chorus staff will provide a station-specific explanation titled:
Why This Song Matches Your Station Preferences
That explanation may say, for example:
This release was selected because your station accepts Christian AC and Contemporary Worship and lists modern, congregational, male-led worship among its preferences. The song is under four minutes and includes a radio-ready master.
The explanation will appear near the top of the station’s private review page.
This gives programmers immediate context instead of forcing them to determine why a particular release appeared in their inbox.
A Clear Review Process
Stations will be able to organize submissions using clear review statuses, including:
- Delivered
- Opened
- Reviewed
- Under Consideration
- Accepted for Consideration
- Additional Materials Requested
- Selected for Specialty Programming
- Added to Rotation
- Declined
- Archived
These options are intended to help stations manage their own workflow without creating pressure or implying a commitment that the station has not made.
Stations can also request additional materials directly through Radio Desk, including:
- Custom station liners
- Radio edits
- WAV or MP3 files
- Updated metadata
- Interviews
- Artist drops
- Promotional materials
- Corrected or additional documents
Instead of searching through old email threads, the request and response can remain connected to the original submission.
Helping Kingdom Chorus Improve Future Submissions
No matching system will be perfect on the first attempt.
When a release does not fit, stations will be able to provide structured feedback explaining why.
Possible reasons may include:
- Format mismatch
- Vocal-style mismatch
- Energy mismatch
- Song length
- Audience mismatch
- Seasonal timing
- Production concerns
- Radio edit unavailable
- AI-policy conflict
- Too pop, country, traditional, heavy, or worship-oriented
Stations will also be able to refine their preferences from within their accounts.
A single decline will not automatically change a station’s profile. The station remains responsible for reviewing and approving any preference updates.
This creates a useful improvement cycle:
- Kingdom Chorus selects a release based on the station’s preferences.
- The station reviews the submission.
- The station identifies any mismatch.
- The station refines its preferences.
- Future submissions become more accurate.
Weekly Submission Summaries Are Coming
One of the upcoming features planned for Radio Desk is a professional weekly submission digest.
Stations will be able to choose how they want to be notified:
- Immediate email notifications
- One weekly digest
- No submission-notification emails
The weekly digest is being designed as a polished, easy-to-scan email containing the new releases delivered during the previous week.
Each song summary may include:
- Song title
- Artist name
- Label or representative
- Primary format
- Release date
- Short description
- Current review status
- A secure button to review the release
Instead of receiving several unrelated emails, a programmer could receive one organized weekly briefing and then enter the private Radio Desk account to review everything in one place.
The email will not replace the station dashboard. It will simply provide a convenient overview and a direct route back to the station’s private inbox.
What Is Coming Next?
Radio Desk is currently being developed as a controlled, station-centered platform.
Planned future improvements include:

The platform will not be opened broadly all at once.
